Well, there hasn't been any mutiny on the boat -yet.
Up and out of the Demopolis Yacht Basin at daybreak. Again a lot of miles to cover to get
to our next overnight destination.
Into the lock with only a small wait. Lock Master needed information that no one else has ever asked us for. Needed the name of the vessel, our registration number and our home port.
The cranes in this lock have mastered riding up and down on the Bollards to retrieve their meals.
Beautiful views this morning from the spill way.
Still traveling down the Tombigbee.
We were passed up by our new river friends from Tuesday night but they were waiting impatiently for us to join them at Bobby's Fish Camp is Silas, AL.
Gary radio'd in to get our ETA.
Instead of calling for "It's All Good" he called in to the "Bikini Boat" to check to see if Captain John had gotten his nap in and was going to be able to dock the boat safely.
What a fun bunch. This is Gary and Barbara's (He's at it AGAIN) eleventh and last trip. Final destination is Cape Coral, FL. They live in Waverly, IA and have been to Go Fish a couple of times. We know our paths will cross again.
The restaurant would hold about 24 people. Catfish, Crab Cakes and Shrimp were plentiful
The sign above the entrance pretty much describes this entire trip....
.
Early to bed, at least for sum as it's 11:02 for me. Our plans are to head out at 4 a.m.
Yes I said 4 a.m. as we are going to be following Gary and Barbara out of the marina
and to our last Lock.
We are determine to sleep in real beds tomorrow night in Dauphin Island.
