Tuesday morning

On our way at daylight.  Lots of miles to go as the sun is setting earlier and earlier.
Our goal is to make it to Demopolis Yacht Basin. We've gone 930 miles so far and we have an estimated 330 more to go.

Temps were 55 and just a little chilly.

The U.S. Snagboat Montgomery
One of the last two sternwheel snagboats in the U.S.

Once used by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to maintain navigation channels in the Southern rivers, the Montgomery has been restored and is adjacent to the Tom Bevill Visitor Center in Pickensville.  It overlooks the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway.
