We made it to the Jamie L. Whitten Lock & Dam around 1 p.m.
Very exciting for us as this had a 84' descent.
Making it the third highest lock east of the Mississippi and the fourth highest in the nation.
After much wining we finally stopped the boat so I could get in and cool off.
Of course, no one else joined us.
